About the event
We are seeing an increased demand for assistance already. The expectation is that we're only seeing the beginning. With a government shutdown looming, federal food assistance programs are in danger of not being funded. This means that not only could there be a disruption for those that depend on programs like WIC and SNAP, we could also experience a delay in TEFAP supplies.
I know that times are difficult for all of us but please, please, please consider making a donation of at least four non-perishable food items beginning this Sunday and through the months of October and November. You could be the difference between someone having their next meal or going hungry!
